Winter Games! - 3rd year :)

Happy holidays!

Hello, Kids! I hope you are having a great time!

Here are some activities for you to practice. I hope you enjoy them :)

Games:

Pick your wits! There's a blurry image and you have to guess what it is. You can choose categories.

Can you beat the goalkeeper? Vocabulary about sports: http://learnenglishteens.britishcouncil.org/study-break/games/beat-keeper

Skills practice! Look at the poster and choose the correct word: http://learnenglishteens.britishcouncil.org/skills/writing-skills-practice/school-poster-project

K's First Case:  After you finish reading it, choose one of the following activities:

A) Choose one of the characters and write a speech about Sir Michael from that person’s perspective. This could be a speech that would be used at Sir Michael’s funeral.

B) Write a newspaper report about the murder. Be sure to include answers to the key questions: Who? Why? How?

C) Sir Michael designed an interesting mechanism. Design a new invention that could be helpful in your life. For example, it could be something to help you do your work or chores, or help you travel from place to place, etc.

D) Imagine life one year later for one of the characters in this story. What is this person’s life like? How has Sir Michael’s death changed things for this person?
